aka Pacific Anemone, Cut-leaf Anemone. Considered the rarest of the Park's anemones. Similar in many respects to the Drummond's Anemone but usually taller ranging from 6" - 16" (15 - 40 cm). Generally found with a single stunning white flower with a blueish underside (unfortunately not shown) although stems with two or three are known. The stems and leaves are silky-hariy. Numerous basal leaves are divided into 3 leaflets that are then divided two or three times. Usually found in stoney soil in exposed areas in the subalpine zone. (ref. Biek, Pojar)
