Thanks for visiting Flowers of Rainier. We look forward to your comments as well as your suggestions for identifying the mystery flowers found in the flower index for each zone. Corrections regarding botanical descriptions and terms as well as identification are, of course, welcome. This site was developed by and is maintained by essentially a hiker, not a professional photographer or a botanist, so we're always looking for help in improving accuracy and interest. Additions will be made in each hiking season. Again, thanks for riding along!

Use of Photos: This is not a commercial site, but rather is an outgrowth of a hobby combining a number of interests including photography. We hope the images have been interesting, educational and have helped increase your appreciation of Mount Rainier National Park. The photos have been significantly compressed from their original photographic files (1 MB or larger) to accommodate the internet. For non-commercial educational purposes the images may be used without permission. For any other purposes we request that permission be granted and that a photo credit accompany use on other web sites or in any publications.
